2024 First, Second and Third Team All-Robio Players

It’s time for our annual All-Robio list. Looking back at my preseason All-Robio award winner predictions, to say I was off would be a massive understatement. None of my first-team predictions earned an award. Only Saquon Barkley, who I predicted would win a second-team award and Lamar Jackson, who I said would produce a third-team award, are on both the preseason list and the end of the year list.

Officially, I led everyone with four All-Robio players, but I had no first team awards. Bob and Michael had the second most with three each. Burrier was the only person to secure two first-team All-Robio players (Chase, Bowers). Calderon, who led the league with 12 wins and was second in points, finished with only one All-Robio (Barkley).

For what I believe is the first time in league history, every team produced an All-Robio. In fact, the bottom six teams in the league, which includes the four who missed the playoffs, accounted for 10 of the possible 24 All-Robio awards.

On top of that, I officially pass Griff for the most All-Robio award winners, averaging 2.69 per season. Colby leads all teams now with 13 All-Robio quarterbacks, Matt is now tied with Griff for 21 All-Robio running backs, while Bob is the king of All-Robio receivers with 23.

Anyhow, all information about All-Robio history can be found HERE.

FIRST-TEAM ALL-ROBIO

QB – Lamar Jackson | Ravens (Griff) – 390 PPG
He averaged a stunning 390 points per contest, which accounted for 30% of all of Griff’s scoring this season. His 3,290 yards passing are fourth most this year, his 29 tossing touchdowns is second most, while his 678 yards rushing leads the league. He only threw three interceptions all year, but he did have four fumbles. This is only Lamar’s second All-Robio award, but both were first team awards. He’s one of eight quarterbacks to deliver two 1st-team awards for his career. For Griff, this is only his second career first-team All-Robio QB and first since Peyton Manning in 2013.

RB – Saquon Barkley | Eagles (Rich C) – 353 PPG
The former Giants back dominated in his first year in Philadelphia. He led all running backs in rushes (266), rushing yards (1,623), total yards (1,890) and finished second in touchdowns with 13 total. He averaged 353 points per game, scoring over 500 more points than the second best back. He scored under 200 just twice all season and his best game this year was 724 points in week 12. This is his third career All-Robio award and his second first-team award. His last first-team award was 2018. He got a third-team award in 2022. For Calderon, this is his first 1st-team running back since LeSean McCoy back in 2013. In total, this is his seventh All-Robio back and second with Barkley.

RB – Derrick Henry | Ravens (Matt) – 303 PPG
Like Barkley above, Henry found a new home and dominated. He rushed for 1,407 yards (5.9 yards per carry), adding 125 yards receiving. He also scored 15 total touchdowns, which is the most among all running backs. He failed to hit 200 just twice all season and topped 400 three times, led by a 538-point effort in week four. This was Henry’s sixth career All-Robio award and third 1st-team award. He’s now the third most decorative running back in league history behind Adrian Peterson and LaDainian Tomlinson. His three 1st-team awards are tie for second most with four other backs (Peterson, James, Holmes and Faulk). For Matt, this is his seventh career first-team All-Robio back, which is one behind me for the most. However, this is his first since he had Barkley in 2018. In total, this is his 20 career All-Robio running back.

WR – Ja’Marr Chase | Bengals (Rich B) – 276 PPG
While 276 points per game isn’t one of the most dominant years by a wideout, he did dominate all wideouts this year, scoring 63 more points than the next guy on this list. That’s more than Barkley and Lamar. He led all receivers in receptions (93), yards (1,319) and his 15 touchdowns is six more than the next pair of hands. Shockingly, despite being one of the better receivers since joining the league in 2021, this is Chase’s first ever All-Robio award. This is Burrier’s second career first-team All-Robio wide receiver. His first was just two years ago with Tyreek Hill. In total, he has just six All-Robio receivers, which is the third least by any team. Only Jeff (5) and Michael (4) have less.

WR – Justin Jefferson | Vikings (Rob M) – 213 PPG
A lot went wrong for Masterson this year, but Jefferson was one thing that went well. The Vikings wideout liked his new QB, as he finished the year with 75 catches for 1,170 yards (one of two receivers to top 1,000 yards in 13 games) and seven touchdowns. Jefferson, who has only been in the league five years, has already earned four All-Robio awards. This is his second career first-team award and he’s already tied for seventh as the most decorative receiver in our league’s history.

TE – Brock Bowers | Raiders (Rich B) – 164 PPG
Burrier delivers a second 1st-team All-Robio player, as Bowers wins rookie of the year in 2024, as the only rookie to earn an All-Robio award. He finished with 87 catches for 933 yards and four scores. His 164 PPG would be good enough to make him the ninth best wide receiver in fantasy. Obviously this is his first career All-Robio award, but this is Burrier’s first 1st-team tight end since Gronkowski went back-to-back first team in 2011-2012. In total, Rich has had five career All-Robio tight ends, with Gronk making up three of them.

PK – Chris Boswell | Steelers (Jeff) – 149 PPG
Undrafted, added, cut and added back by Jeff, Boswell finished the year as the best kicker, nearly averaging 150 points per game. His 11 50-yard field goals were second most and his 36 total field goals (out of 39 tries) are a league high. He went 19-for-19 under 40 yards. Twice this season he scored over 300 fantasy points. This is his first ever All-Robio award and Jeff’s first All-Robio kicker since Jeff Wilkins earned a third-team award back in 2003.

DST – Denver Broncos (Bob) – 154 PPG
I’ll be honest, I didn’t have the Broncos DST on my radar in the preseason. Neither did anyone else, as they were undrafted. Bob picked them up in week four and hasn’t looked back. While they don’t force a lot of turnovers (18 on the year), they do hold teams to 315 total yards (third best) and 18 points per game (sixth best). However, they did score four touchdowns (the most by a D), produced two safeties (also most in the league) and have sacked the QB 47 times, which is the most in the league. The scores, safeties and sacks accounted for 37% of their fantasy points. The Broncos last earned a first-team award back in 2015 and have four total All-Robio awards. This is Bob’s fifth career first-team All-Robio DST. His last was the Patriots in 2021. In total, he has six All-Robio DSTs.

SECOND-TEAM ALL-ROBIO

  • We have three second-team running backs, as Jacobs and Robinson tied with 3,316 points.

QB – Josh Allen | Bills (Colby) – 347 PPG
His 752-point effort helped Colby land a playoff spot and allowed him to jump up into the second-team. He barely cracked 3,000 passing yards, which isn’t even top-five among arms and his 23 passing touchdowns isn’t some great feat, but he had 416 yards rushing and nine rushing touchdowns. His combined 32 touchdowns are tied for second, while he only turned it over seven times this year. For Colby, who had four 1st-team All-Robio quarterbacks between 2017-2021, this is his 12 All-Robio quarterback, but first second-team. He’s had four 1st-team QBs and seven 3rd-team award winners. As for josh Allen, this is his fourth career award. He has two 1st-team awards, this 2nd-team award and one 3rd-team award. He’s now tied with Patrick Mahomes as the fifth most decorated All-Robio QB.

RB – Jahmyr Gibbs | Lions (Michael) – 257 PPG
Despite sharing the backfield with Montgomery, the second-year back finished as the third best back in football. Just imagine what he could do if he was a feature back. Gibbs finished with 1,016 yards and 312 receiving yards, scoring 12 touchdowns on the year. He averaged 5.7 yards per carry, which was second only to Barkley and Henry. This was Gibbs’s first ever All-Robio award and this is the third time Michael landed an All-Robio back. He had Dalvin Cook in 2019-2020, when the Vikings back earned back-to-back first-team awards.

RB – Josh Jacobs | Packers (Don) – 255 PPG
The third back out of the top four to switch teams and earn an All-Robio. Jacobs came on strong late, scoring at least 290 points in five of his final six games. He only rushed for 100 yards three times, but still cracked 1,000 yards rushing and also brought in 27 catches for 260 yards. he scored 12 times this year, tied with Barkley for second most. This is his second career All-Robio award. He earned a first-team award in 2022. For Don, this is the third straight year he has produced an All-Robio back. He had a first-team running back the last two years with Henry (2022) and Mostert (2023). In total, he’s had 11 All-Robio backs.

RB – Bijan Robinson | Falcons (Robio) – 255 PPG
He spent most of the year with Don, but was a late season trade when Don failed to qualify for a playoff spot. He finished his second year with 977 yards rushing and 1,378 total yards. He also scored eight touchdowns. He started slowly, but has produced 280 fantasy points in seven of his last eight contests heading into the playoffs. Anyhow, this is Robinson’s first award. It’s sorta crazy to think Don had two All-Robio backs, but managed just three wins this year. However, with the trade, I get the award. This is my 17th career All-Robio back, which is third most in the league.

WR – CeeDee Lamb | Cowboys (Eric) – 182 PPG
To show you how this season lacked stud receivers, Lamb earns a second-team award, despite not averaging 200 per game. The last time that happened was 2017. However, this is the lowest average for the third best receiver ever in this league. Anyhow, Lamb finished with 85 receptions, 973 yards and only five scores. He earned a first-team award last year, but he averaged 64 less points per game this year. In total, this is his third career All-Robio. He also earned a third-team award in 2022. This is Eric’s second straight All-Robio award with Lamb. He has 12 total All-Robio receivers for his career.

WR – Amon-Ra St. Brown | Lions (Eric) – 180 PPG
Eric secures a second 2nd-team All-Robio receiver, but again, this being a down year for wideouts, he still failed to qualify for a playoff spot. St. Brown caught a stunning 91 of his 98 targets and finished with 863 yards. His 10.7 yards per catch was the lowest among receivers in the top-10. He did score nine times, producing a touchdown in eight straight games at one point. This was St. Brown’s first ever All-Robio award and Eric’s 13th All-Robio receiver.

TE – George Kittle | 49ers (Michael) – 160 PPG
Officially, Kittle’s 189 points per game are the most by a tight end, but he missed two games and go by total and divide by total games played by the fantasy team, so his average drops 29 points. He finished just 54 points behind Bowers, despite missing those two contests. On the year, he had just 56 catches, but 800 yards, thanks to a league best 14.3 yards per catch. He also had a league high eight touchdowns by a tight end. This is Kittle’s fourth career All-Robio award. He has a pair of second-team awards and two third-team awards. Only six other tight ends in league history have produced four or more All-Robio awards. This is Michael’s first ever All-Robio tight end.

PK – Ka’imi Fairbairn | Texans (Robio) – 131 PPG
The Texans kicker has been on my roster all season long and finished with 31 field goals (second most) and 29 extra points. He made a league high 13 field goals from 50+ yards, although only attempt four from 40-49 this season. Oddly enough, he missed two from 20-29 yards. Anyhow, this is his second career All-Robio award. He got a third team award in 2018. This is my eight kicker to secure an All-Robio award.

DST – Pittsburgh Steelers (Colby) – 151 PPG
Drafted by Jeff in round 11, he kept them around until week nine, but cut them. Colby grabbed the new Steel Curtain and walks away with an All-Robio award. The Steelers finished just 34 points behind the Broncos. They relied on a league high 28 turnovers, including 13 fumble recoveries. Their 310 yards allowed is the second best in the league, as opponents scored just 17.9 per game. With a second career 2nd-team All-Robio award, the Steelers now have eight in total since 1999 and are the second most decorated DST in league history. For Colby, this is his sixth career All-Robio DST. He had the first-team DST last year (Cowboys).

THIRD-TEAM ALL-ROBIO

QB – Joe Burrow | Bengals (Robio) – 326 PPG
I’ve had him for four years and he finally paid off. His 3,706 yards passing are the most in the league and his 33 passing touchdowns are 34 total touchdowns are the league’s most. He didn’t run much (158 yards), which is why he’s not the top dog at quarterback and he turned it over nine times. Still, he scored over 350 in four of his final five games and is a big reason for my 11 wins. This is Burrow’s first career All-Robio award. He’s my 9th career All-Robio quarterback and my first since Lamar got first-team in 2019.

RB – Alvin Kamara | Saints (Robio) – 251 PPG
I bring home a second All-Robio back. Kamara started hot, scoring over 200 in his first four, including a 600-point effort in week two against Dallas. However, he has slowed lately, twice failing to top 200 in his last three contests. However, he still held on to the final All-Robio spot over Kyren Williams by 180 points. He finished our regular season with 938 yards rushing and a league high by a back, 485 receiving yards. He also scored seven touchdowns.

WR – Terry McLaurin | Commanders (Bob) – 177 PPG
One of the biggest surprises of the year was Jayden Daniels. The rookie QB finished fifth among all quarterbacks, thanks to 590 yards rushing and turning it over just six times. However, when he did throw it, he liked to toss it to McLaurin. The 6th round pick earned his first ever All-Robio award, thanks to 61 catches for 896 yards and nine scores. For Bob, who does have eight career first-team All-Robio wide receivers on his resume, this was his 20th career All-Robio receiver, which is the most in league history.

WR – Jaxon Smith-Njigba | Seahawks (Bob) – 167 PPG
Bob gets his second All-Robio receiver of the year, although with Higgins also on the ream, the Seahawks wideout didn’t get a ton of playing time this year. Doesn’t matter, as he finished with 911 yards receiving on 75 catches, scoring five times. This was first All-Robio award, although his 167 PPG is the lowest average ever for an All-Robio receiver. He ends up being Bob’s 21st career All-Robio receiver, which is four more than the next guy.

TE – Terry McBride | Cardinals (Jeff) – 152 PPG
The Cardinal’s receiver earned his first ever All-Robio award in just his third season. He finished with 80 catches and 851 yards, which is second among all tight ends this year behind Bowers. His biggest problem? He scored zero touchdowns. I’m pretty confident that he is the first non-kicker to earn an All-Robio without scoring a touchdown. Anyhow, this is Jeff’s first career All-Robio tight end.

PK – Brandon Aubrey | Cowboys (Bob) – 123 PPG
Drafted by Colby, he was cut during his bye and grabbed by Bob, although his two best games came in weeks one and two and since Dak went down, he’s been an average kicker in terms of point production. He’s only made 29 field goals on the year, missing five and has just 23 extra points. He makes up for the low numbers with a lot of long kicks. He’s made 10 from 40-49 yards and 10 more from 50+ yards. In just his second season, Aubrey earns his second career All-Robio award. He earned a first-team award last year. This is Bob’s fifth career All-Robio kicker. He has never had a first-team kicker in his career.

DST – Minnesota Vikings (Michael) – 149 PPG
Michael lands his third All-Robio of the season. One would think he would have won more games. Anyhow, the Vikings dominating at getting teams off the field without a punt. Not only did they force 27 turnovers (second most), with 20 interceptions (a league high), but they forced 17 turnovers on downs, which was the most in the league. They sacked the QB 40 times (third most) and only gave up 17.9 points per game. This is just the second All-Robio award for the Vikings DST. They earned a first-team award in 2016. This is Michael’s third career All-Robio DST. The Saints DST got him a third-team award in 2020 and the 49ers earned a first-team award in 2022. Oddly enough, Michael has 12 career All-Robio award winners and half of them have been Vikings.
