Eric Vozzola

Eric Vozzola, the youngest member of Robioland Football and remains one of the few who is still allowed legally to be within 200-yards of a middle school. For too long, he was the lovable loser that no one seemed to love. His first six seasons in this league were filled with failed attempts to reach the postseason. Even when he started to make the postseason, he often barely did. In fact, eleven seasons in this league, he had gone to the playoffs just three times, but two of those times, he barely made it in as the 8-seed (he went 0-3 in the playoffs).

In 2010, the guy who lived at the bottom, found a way to hit rock bottom even more. In 2010 and 2011, Eric went a stunning 3-23, becoming the first and only person to earn the top seed two years in a row. Yet, in 2012, things finally went his way. He won nine games for the first time ever and earned his first scoring crown. He entered the playoffs as a three seed and ended up reaching the title game (before losing a heartbreaker to me).

Fast forward and Eric has actually made it to the playoffs seven of the last eleven seasons, but that’s about all he can brag about. In seventeen seasons of Robioland, he has just three winning seasons (2007, 2012 and 2015) and has won just three career playoff games.
