After a brutal first eight years as a solo artist in this league, where Jeff failed to qualify for a playoff spot six times, he’s actually shown some signs of life since 2015. He actually made it to the playoffs three straight seasons, which included one 11-win regular season and top seed, his first ever playoff win (2016), two trips to the semifinals and one season as league runner-up (2016).
This past season, he dipped back below .500 and out of the playoffs, but that had more to do with losing his two best players (Beckham, Gordon), which led to him losing six of his final eight games. Overall, he sits ninth through 11th in all major categories, has never won a scoring crown or actual championship and he’s the only person in league history to never score at least 2,000 in a game. For now, that’s all good enough to keep him ahead of Eric. However, if he can continue to make the postseason his home, I’m prepare to move the little guy up.
