Since joining the league during the last MTV wave of 2003, Matt has been arguable the greatest “hit or miss” team this league has ever seen. He’s a guy who has missed the playoffs six times, which is a lot for a league where 67% of the teams in any given season can make it to the show. Yet, he has also managed to draft some of the best teams in league history.
He’s a guy who has produced just seven winning seasons in 15 years and has earned the league’s top pick three times (finished last the year before) in his career (tied for most). However, he’s made it to the semis five times, he has those three championships (2007, 2009 and 2017) and came within one, single point of tying a league high with a fourth in 2014. . For good measure, he has one career top seed and a pair of scoring crowns.
