Below are the fun facts I discovered with a quick glance.

MICHAEL
The league champion only has a winning record against four teams. However, he dominates a few of those he does beat. He’s 6-3 against Masterson and 7-4 against me (including a pair of postseason wins), but he really likes to dominate teams that have been to 14 combined title games; Matt and Griff.

Michael is 8-1 against Neatock, having won five straight, including three wins this season. Yet, Griff is his favorite foe. He remains undefeated against one of the original league members, going 7-0. The closest Coomer has gotten to him was this season, losing by only 11 points.

ROBIO
My favorite foe remains Griffs. I’ve gone 24-12 against him, including 4-1 in the postseason. I also have 20+ wins over Don and Eric and I need one more against Masterson to have him join that exclusive club. I also have winning records against Calderon (16-11), Matt (18-13) and Jeff (12-11), while I struggle the most against Bob and Colby. I’m -19 against those two.

Fun fact of the day: I’m leaving 2024 with an 11-game winning streak over Don. I last lost to him in 2016 and that’s the longest winning streak one team has over another in league history. However, I also have long current winning streaks against Griff (eight straight) and Eric (six straight).

GRIFF
Griff’s wins are a thing of the past, as he was +21 in the win column against former league members, but is -20 against current teams. However, it gets sorta worse for him. He’s rock solid against the family, going 20-13 against Eric and 16-12 against Don. This means he’s -31 against any current member not named Vozzola. Griff is also the only league member to have two 8-game losing streaks against two foes (Robio, Bob) and he’s riding a seven-game losing streak to Michael.

That means since 2019, Griff is 0-23 against me, Bob and Michael. I’m going to repeat that in bold, because it might be the craziest stat in this league: SINCE 2019, GRIFF IS 0-23 AGAINST ME, BOB AND MICHAEL. Best yet, all three of those losing streaks are active.

DON
He has a winning record against just three teams: Eric (18-14), Jeff (12-10) and his favorite foe, Burrier (18-11). In fact, while Don has struggled lately to make the playoffs, he has taken 12 of the last 14 games against Rich, including 10-straight between 2015-2022.

Unfortunately he can’t play Burrier every week. Don heads into 2025 with multiple losing streaks to folks. He has a four-game losing streak against Michael, Colby, Calderon and Eric. Yet, his 12-game losing streak to me is the league’s all-time longest.

ERIC
The slowly-becoming-Texans fan has a winning record against just three teams. He’s 18-11 against Burrier, 15-11 against Matt and 5-2 against Michael. He is also 13-13 against Bob, which is good compared to most others. He enters 2025 riding a five-game winning streak against Castrone. That’s tied for the longest winning streak against him.

40 of Eric’s career defeats came via the league’s only remaining original members. He’s 10-20 against me and 13-20 against Griff. He has turned things around with Coomer. He was 6-17 after losing ninth straight to Griff. However, in 2016, things changed and Eric is 7-3 against him, with four weekly high scores. Unfortunately, he can’t seem to find wins against me. He’s only beaten me twice since 2016 and is riding a six-game losing streak.

ROB M
15 seems to be an important number for Rob right now. He has 15 career victories over me, Griff, Don, Bob and Matt. However, he only has a winning record against Griff (15-12), Don (15-12) and Jeff (12-10). He lost his 20th career game to Calderon (10-20) and is on the verge of losing his 20th to me next season (15-19).

Masterson enters 2025 riding a pair of four game slides to opponents. He’s dropped four straight to Colby and to Matt. In fact, Rob will begin next season with not a single two-game winning streak against any foe in the league.

Not-so-fun fact: Rob is the only league member to never produce a six-game winning streak against any foe in the league.

RICH B
Burrier has a winning record against just three foes. He’s 15-12 against me, 17-11 against Colby and a surprising 6-1 against Michael. He lost their first meeting in 2019, but he’s won six straight since. It’s the only time Rich has produced a six-game winning streak against anyone.

Burrier has losing records against folks that aren’t surprising. He’s just 10-19 against Bob, although he’s won three straight and he’s 14-20 against Calderon, having dropped nine of the last ten meetings. He’s also just 12-17 against Matt, having dropped five straight. However, his failure to earn wins against the two teams with the lowest winning percentage continues to be a thorn up his ass. He’s just 11-18 against both Don and Eric.

RICH C
Slowly Rich is becoming one of the most dominant teams in the league and his record against his foes tells the story. Only nine teams have 20+ wins against a foe. Calderon has three, which is tied with me for the most, but he’s done it with four less years on the resume. He’s 21-8 against Colby (thanks to a pair of six-game winning streaks against him). He’s 20-14 against Burrier, having won nine of the last ten games. And finally, he’s 20-10 against Masterson. He once won 11 out of 13 between 2005-2014 and he’s never lost three in a row to him.

He is also the only person in the league to have a winning record against Bob (15-14) and has a losing record against just one opponent…me. Calderon is just 11-16 against me, having lost seven of the last nine games dating back to 2018. This includes two postseason games and the 2019 title game.

BOB
Castrone remains the most successful team in the league when you soak up the entire resume. Only one team has a winning record against him and that’s by a single game (he’s 14-15 against Calderon). He used to struggle against Griff, once sitting 8-11 against him. However, since 2014, Bob has taken 10 of 12, including eight straight heading into 2025. Bob also does well against Matt (19-13) and Colby (18-12), although his win over Hall this year ended a five game slide.

However, his best quality is to dominate a trio of teams. He’s +33 in the standings in games against me, Don and Burrier. He’s 19-10 against Rich, despite dropping his last three games to him. Prior to that and after a bad 1-4 start against him, he had won 18 out of 21 games between 2007-2021. On top of that, he’s 21-11 against me. He’s continued to beat me lately, when I’ve been crushing everyone else. Since 2014, Bob is 9-3 against me. However, Don remains his favorite foe. He is 22-8 against him. The 22 wins are the second most one team has over another, highlighted by a stretch between 2009-2018 when Bob took 13 of 14 meetings.

MATT
For a guy with five title game appearances and four championships, Matt’s resume against the opponents isn’t that impressive. He has a winning record against just four teams, going 16-9 against Griff, 15-14 against Don, 17-12 against Burrier and 15-5 against Jeff, thanks to an eight-game winning streak between 2009-2015.

Yet, at the same time, he enters 2025 riding a two-game losing streak or worse against only one team…Michael. He’s just 1-8 against Michael, having lost five straight. In his eight defeats to the current champ, Matt produced three weekly low scores. The only other team Matt has three weekly low scores against is Jeff.

COLBY
Colby has been able to dominate some, but others perform the domination. He owns me, taking 18-9, including the last three. He’s 16-8 against Don, having won 13 of the last 16 games. He’s a solid 18-12 against Masterson (having won four straight) and is 17-10 against Matt, winning four straight prior to this season, including two postseason games, which included the 2022 title game.

However, Colby has struggled against Griff, going 13-18 against him, including 1-5 in the postseason. He’s 11-17 against Burrier, losing seven of eight between 2015-2021. He’s also just 12-18 against Bob, although he had won five straight before losing this year. And finally, he’s just 8-21 to Calderon. He lost his first six games to him (2004-2008), then again lost six in a row (2017-2020).

Not-so-fun fact: Colby has never beaten anyone named Rich (Calderon or Burrier) three straight times in his career. He’s beaten Burrier two straight times twice (2013-14, 2022-23), but he’s only done it once to Calderon (2014-15).

JEFF
Greenblatt has winning records against Burrier (15-11), who he once beat nine straight times between 2015-2020, Colby (10-8), who he has beaten eight of the last ten, Michael (5-4) and Eric (14-10), who he has beaten four straight times, with Eric producing the weekly low score in their last three meetings.

Oddly enough, Jeff’s latest claim to fame is to have winning records in the postseason against teams he doesn’t beat a ton in the regular season. He’s 8-11 against me in the regular season, but 3-1 against me in the playoffs. He’s 7-13 against Bob in the regular season, but 2-0 against him in the playoffs. He’s 9-12 against Masterson in the regular season, but he won their only playoff meeting. This means he’s -12 in the regular season against us three, but is 6-1 against us when it really matters.
