HISTORY OF THE TEAM NAME:

Team names…the only thing Masterson can dominate in fantasy football. Yet, do you know what the best part about it all? Bob’s dominate this league more than 50 Shades of Grey if it was directed by Tom Six, yet the bastard still gets pissed when his cleverly named teams don’t win “Best Team Name” award. I truly appreciate the passion.

Historically, when teams joined this league, I gave them a team name (typically their name and their favorite team’s nickname or some random thing I knew about them). The exception to this was Calderon. In his first year in the league, he did his own team name, the Manhattan Projects.

Slowly but surely, beginning in 2004, people started to change their team names. Some, never switched it up (except for a minor tweak) like Colby’s Quarter Pounders and Molly’s Mollipop. Masterson kept the Backstreet Boys for six years, before finally switching things up. Don and Eric were a little late to the name-change game, but have started to switch it up. Then there are people like Bob, Jeff and myself, who have had a new team name just about every year (although Bob went back-to-back Caucasians in 2006-07.

Anyhow, here is the history of the team name…
