2012 was a year unlike any other. A rookie quarterback (RGIII) finished first among all quarterbacks, while a second rookie, running back Doug Martin delivered a first-team All-Robio performance. Some stars shined as expected (Ray Rice, Arian Foster and Calvin Johnson are just a few), while others (Maurice Jones-Drew, DeMarco Murray and Michael Vick) faltered. In the end, the MVP game down to two players who, thanks to injuries, had huge question marks entering the season. Peyton Manning missed all of 2011 with a neck injury, switched teams, thus lasted to the fifth round. He ended up finishing 3rd among all quarterbacks. Meanwhile, Adrian Peterson was a lock first pick in the draft in any draft until he tore his ACL at the end of 2011. He fell to Molly in the second round and produced the best performance by a running back and the league MVP.
