Below are the win-lose records for every game where you scored at least 1,500 points. These stats do not include this season (sorry). Rank Team W-L Win % Regular Season Playoffs 1 Michael 28-1 .966 23-1 5-0 2 Rich C 96-10 .906 85-8 11-2 3 Robio 131-14 .903 109-11 22-3 4 Griff 82-9 .901 73-9…
Rob Masterson. He walked into Monday night with a Jets win already in his back pocket and a near guaranteed victory in this league, only to spend the evening sweating out a massive comeback by Griff. Fortunately, the Broncos were so pathetic that Kenneth Walker got pulled with about eight minutes to go, and Rob…
Welcome to the preseason rankings. If I have you ranked #1, it’s simple… in my luscious blue eyes, you’re the favorite to win it all. Of course, take all of this with a healthy dose of salt. Last year’s preseason favorite won five games and missed the playoffs, while the team I projected to finish…
Welcome to the 2026 Preseason All-Robio Projections. If you think I put a lot of thought into this, you’re wrong. But that doesn’t mean I’m wrong. I have for you the first-team, second-team and third-team All-Robio teams. Plus, I have the Sleeper All-Robio team. These are all players currently ranked outside CBS’s top-10, who I…
1:15:01 minutes. That’s how long it took us to do the draft. One hour, fifteen minutes and zero seconds. I don’t know what the previous record was, but whatever it was, it’s broken. That’s incredible. Sure, we only had a slight late start and I believe we had one pause, but we had no meltdowns…
Eight teams are using one of their first two picks, which just goes to show that we didn’t find a ton of talent in later rounds. In fact, six of the 13 players being kept in rounds seven or later are being kept for a second and final time. Only three players drafted between rounds…
Head-to-head… it’s what makes fantasy football great. Each of us has our favorite to play, but I’m a commissioner who cares, so I’m all about giving. Thus, I’m going to give you, not one, but your four favorite foes. Yep, here are the top four foes you wish you could play every week. All “Records…
If fantasy football were a stock market, I’d be the blue chip everyone wishes they bought a decade ago. Over the last two seasons, I’ve bulldozed the competition to the tune of a 23-5 regular-season record. Toss in the postseason, and I’m sitting on a .813 winning percentage. It’s officially the second-greatest two-year heater in…
Rob Masterson…the best team to never win a championship, and now, somehow, the only team to never win a championship. The latter is actually a new development, because the 2020s have essentially become the fantasy football equivalent of a participation-trophy convention: everyone gets a mug. Between 1999 and 2019, just seven people split the league’s…
The All-Robio Award is given to the best players at each position. Running backs and wide receivers each receive two awards since we start four total players at those positions every week. And we don’t stop at a First Team. We also hand out Second-Team and Third-Team honors. That means 24 players can earn an…
Yep: No. 1 in career rankings and No. 1 over the last decade. Of course, given how the decade began, it certainly didn’t feel like it was headed in that direction. In fact, the first few years felt like a pretty accurate representation of the previous decade: extreme highs, maddening lows, and just enough chaos…
Ten seasons. Ten playoff appearances. Not nine. Not eight. A perfect 10-for-10. This is a streak nobody else in this league can match this decade. Not Robby. Not Bobby. Nobody. And yet… he’s not ranked No. 1 in my decade rankings. We’ll get to that. But first, let’s revisit one of the most consistently dominant…
Once the league’s greatest dynasty. A man who dominated so thoroughly that he made the rest of us wonder if we were playing the game wrong, which, to be fair, we probably were. Yet somehow, four-time league champion Bob Castrone did not claim the top spot over the last decade. Why? What went wrong? Who’s…
At the top of my all-time rankings, there were always three names: Robio Murray, Bob Castrone, and Griff Coomer. As we all know, Coomer’s empire eventually crumbled, and Rich Calderon has since carved out his place on the Robioland Fantasy Football Mount Rushmore alongside Bob and yours truly. Of course, Mount Rushmore has four faces—at…
If we were doing a five-year ranking, Colby Hall would be sitting comfortably at the top thanks to back-to-back championships in 2022 and 2023. But this is a 10-year ranking, and those first six years of the decade were… less than inspiring for Colby Hall, seen above, looking more and more like every composite sketch…
When it comes to deciding where to rank everyone, I first have to decide what matters most. Obviously, championships are what we all chase, but I’m not going to rank teams solely by how many mugs they have. For me, it’s a combination of regular-season success and postseason success. Just compare Matt to Eric. Overall,…
Let’s just get it out there: the past 10 years have been the best 10 years of Eric’s career in this league. For most owners, making the playoffs nine times in a decade would define an era of sustained success. Buried within those 10 seasons is the crowning achievement of his career: a league championship…
Seven seasons into his league career, there’s already plenty to like about Michael’s résumé. He opened with back-to-back winning seasons and consecutive playoff appearances, although both ended in similar fashion. In each year, he started 4-0 before fading down the stretch. In 2019, he closed the season 2-7; in 2020, he finished 5-4. Both playoff…
The decade opened in the middle of Rob’s most dominant run in this league. From 2016 through 2019, he posted four consecutive winning seasons. Combined with the previous five years, that gave him nine straight winning seasons. That’s the longest streak in league history. Naturally, he made the playoffs all four years. Oddly enough, he…
Burrier opened the decade with three straight 6-7 seasons, which is the fantasy football equivalent of a mayonnaise sandwich. Sure, it’ll keep you alive, but nobody’s calling it satisfying. Those first two 6-7 campaigns were just enough to sneak into the playoffs as the No. 8 seed. In both cases, he drew beatable No. 1…
Don sits at the bottom of the all-time rankings despite owning more championships than nearly half the league. Fortunately for him, Griff’s decade was somehow even worse, sparing Old Man Vozzola from wearing the crown as the league’s biggest disaster of the last ten years and escaping the label of Florida Man. That doesn’t mean…
A decade. For some, it’s been a glorious ten years, with a ton of wins, lots of points and maybe a title or two. For others, it’s been years of torture, filled with defeats, losing streaks and a lifetime’s worth of weekly low scores. Stats don’t always tell the whole story, but in this case,…
Griff is coming off a respectable season. He won eight games and made the playoffs. Hell, just two seasons ago, he went 9-5, earned the No. 2 seed, and finished third in scoring. Two winning records in the last three years is a positive sign… right? Yeah, it is. Unfortunately, we have to judge the…
It took just four years to win my first league championship. It took 23 more to get the next three. I’m not sure this title will go down as my personal favorite, but it is easily the least expected. And in fantasy football, the least expected outcomes are usually the ones that age best—the opposite…
IT’S A CHRISTMAS MIRACLE! THE CLASS OF 2029 VS LOLITA EXPRESS. IT’S ROB VS BOB. It’s the Class of 2020. vs Lolita Expreess. It’s Rob vs Bob. This title game contenders are the top two teams in the career rankings. We have a combined 433 career wins, eight career top seeds, 11 scoring crowns, 37…
Now this is a Final Four. No Cinderella. No pesky underdog. No unworthy 7-seed. Instead, we have the top four teams in the standings. It’s the first time ever all four top seeds advanced to the semifinals. We are a combined 42-18 this season. The .700 winning percentage is the second best behind the 2019…
The 27th edition of the Robioland Football Playoffs is upon us, and once again we find ourselves staring into the chaotic abyss of fantasy football destiny—an abyss that, last year, casually swallowed the two regular-season juggernauts, Rich Calderon and myself. We strutted in like kings and got slapped around like tourists who didn’t read the…
Here are the Weekly All-Robio award winners for 2025. Bob and Griff led the league with 14 each, with Don and myself coming in tied for third with 12 each. Matt finished the season with the lowest total. He had just four all year and actually went eight weeks without at least one weekly All-Robio…
To prove once again how balanced this season has been, every team earned at least one All-Robio player. I’m not sure if that’s ever happened before. Everyone had one, even Mikey, Masterson and Matt. On top of that, no one team dominated. In fact, five teams had three each, Colby, Bob, Robio, Griff and Don.…
15 of 16 Games in the Books — What Did We Learn? Josh Allen remains a fantasy god. The Ravens continue inventing new and creative ways to blow games that will inevitably cost them home-field advantage. The Dolphins’ head coach might be lucky to make it to the bye week. And former Giants like Saquon…
As I mentioned in the draft recap—this year was a tough one to evaluate. No team truly dominated the draft, and there’s more balance across the league than we’ve seen in years. You could take the teams I have ranked 6-8 and drop them into the top-three and I would struggle to find a good…
I’ll be honest: this draft was impressive—unless your name was ROB MURRAY. Truly, one of the more balanced drafts we’ve seen in a long time. It’s going to be tough to figure out who the top dogs are and who will be scrambling in the basement. The reality is, I could rank you third, or…
Everyone wants a fast start in fantasy football, but not every season goes according to plan. Still, a rough beginning isn’t the end of the story. Some teams bounce back in remarkable fashion—and we honor those late bloomers with the “Best Turnaround” award. This recognition is based solely on the regular season; playoff success (or…
It’s time for the annual Robio’s Career Rankings. Obviously when you’re trying to account for 26 seasons worth of results, there won’t be much movement. However, this year, Michael got a nice little boost after two straight title games and one championship. Meanwhile, after some brief relief in 2023, Griff’s slide down the rankings continue…
Scoring. Sure, winning matters more, but it’s tough to win a ton of games if you ain’t scoring. 26 teams have scored more points than anyone else in a season. Let’s celebrate those 26 and see how their season ended. 1999 – Robio Murray REGULAR SEASON GAMES: 14 TOTAL POINTS: 20,812 POINTS PER GAME:…
Ah, keeper season—when we dig through last year’s benchwarmers and waiver wire rejects like they’re JD Vance searching for a black person who ate a cat… only to emerge clutching a dusty TE2. Anyhow, here are the official keeper rankings for 2025. But this isn’t just about how good your players are, it’s about value.…
We’re less than a month away from kickoff. Some of you are busy mock-drafting like you’re prepping for a Harvard dissertation, others are…Don. Let’s rewind and embrace the chaos of Week One history. Who rules opening week like a fantasy god? Who should be legally banned from setting their lineup until Week Two? And more…
While we’re still months away from football starting, there is only so much Colby’s writing on Mediaite can truly entertain us. Speaking of, I’m still waiting to be hired as the official fantasy writer for that site. If anyone can find correlation between the potential drop in Mike Evans’ YAC totals to the fall of…
As we all should know, this league was once a Florida league, filled with Floridians. Soon after its creation though, your beloved commish would venture off to the north and by 2003, many of the teams would switch from folks in Florida to New Yorkers. The exceptions were David Hightower, the Vozzola clan, plus a…
No, it’s not football season. We’re not even close, but the itch often begins for me as we approach June. Soon, Colby will start sending me mock drafts, Matt will ask me how many keepers he can keep and sometime around early August, we’ll all remember that Burrier is still in this league. For fun…
First Round Picks. The first block of every championship team. Don’t believe me? Of the league’s 26 champions, only four teams won it all without a first-round pick in their starting lineup. Matt twice won it all without his first round pick, because he traded that player for another team’s first rounder, so we won’t…
How about some postseason history. Everything you need to know is at this link. Click on tabs below for more information you will be glad you know. LINK HERE! Below are the fun facts I discovered with a quick glance. MICHAEL After winning five of his last six postseason games, Michael is now .556 in…
As always, I keep track of your record against every foe. If you click on the tab with your name, you can see the results of every game you played against current teams. LINK HERE! Below are the fun facts I discovered with a quick glance. MICHAEL The league champion only has a winning record…
The season is over, but there is still plenty of math to be done. First up, where did your 2024 season rank among the best? 306 seasons have been played in this league. If you cracked the top-75, you enjoyed greatness; either with a superior regular season, a title game run or a championship (although…
The 7-seed. What about it makes it such a winning seed in our playoffs. For most leagues, there is no 7-seed, as six teams only make it to the postseason, rewarding the top two seeds a quarterfinals bye-week. No such luck or love in this league. We’ve been a 8-team playoff since the beginning. Every…
#4 FOOTBALL (Jeff) vs #7 Dudelove (Michael) RECORD Jeff: 10-6 Michael: 9-7 POINTS Jeff: 1,469 Michael: 1,410 BREAKDOWN Jeff: 106-70 (11-5 vs Michael) Michael: 104-72 GAME SPREAD Michael is favorite by 163 HISTORY Jeff leads the all-time series, 5-3. He won their first meeting back in 2019, 1,268-1,078. The following season, Michael took their only…
And the finals are set, even though Michael still has a DST playing tonight. We will get a 4-seed facing a 7-seed, with Jeff taking on Michael. Officially, these two have the least amount of seasons under their belt. Michael is the league’s newest member and Jeff has been riding solo since 2009, after starting…
Let’s be honest, does anyone want to read this and see that I picked them to win? I mean, I went 1-3 in the quarterfinals. If I had a dollar for every time I was right, I would have earned just $1 last week. #4 FOOTBALL (Jeff) vs #8 MAGIC NUMBERS (Colby) RECORD Jeff: 9-6…
The league motto has always been, “get to the playoffs and win three games.” It’s simple; it’s true. For just the second time in league history, the top three seeds all fell in the quarterfinals. On top of that, six teams scored over 1,500 and no team scored less than 1,395 points. That’s the first…
The 26th addition of the Robioland Football Playoffs is upon us. We have our eight, but in reality, Calderon and myself have been dominating. We are both 1st and 2nd in the standings, going a combined 23-5. We are both first and second in breakdown and first and second in scoring, as the only two…
